Protect yourself from recruitment fraud

In recent months, there has been an increase in recruitment fraud involving scammers who post fraudulent jobs openings on employment-search websites, or who contact job seekers who have posted their resumes publicly, and then conduct fake interviews to obtain personal information or money from the applicants.

How to identify recruitment fraud.

  • CPL includes at least one in-person interview, and we will not request an interview on a Google Hangout or any other instant messaging application.
  • CPL employees use email addresses with the domain “@cplltd.com.”
  • We will never send a “start-up check” or “bonus” prior to your first day of employment or ask that you return it, and we will not ask you to purchase your own equipment.
  • We will never request money for the opportunity to apply or work for CPL.
  • CPL does not require tax forms, bank account information, or credit card information as part of the recruiting/application process.
  • If you are unsure if a message is from CPL, please contact HRl@cplltd.com.
